The "21 WINS" Challenge started with my own desire to feel better...without having to overhaul my entire life.
I was exercising but not seeing the muscle tone and shape I was looking for. I wasn't eating sustaining meals and never felt satiated or recovered. I was so tired, yet staying up 'til late hours, wondering why my body and mind felt so depressed the next day.
I was sick of feeling like I was failing, sick of feeling overwhelmed, and consequently, paralyzed by the bombardment of fitness and nutrition "shoulds."
And if I, a professional in the industry felt this way...how much more someone outside of it?!
So, I got rid of the noise and reconnected with the 4 habits that I knew would be the foundation to feeling and looking like the strong, energetic, joyful, refreshed, athletic person I knew I could be and what my friends and family needed.
Lifting weights more frequently, prioritizing protein, sleeping 7-9 hours, and going for slow walks have been some of the best, most impactful decisions I've ever made for the way I look, move, and feel. I am able to handle stress much differently. I feel strong and not constantly exhausted. The amount of food I'm eating has increased yet I can magically see more of my muscles than ever before.
